. GAS Safe (1573)

Official list of gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. Trust the Triangle. Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in 2009.

. Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (07896008)

Licensed Membership is operated by APHC Ltd and is only open to plumbing & heating businesses that work to a minimum trading standard with their customers. The business must have appropriate levels of insurance and ensure that only competent operatives are employed to undertake plumbing & heating work with a minimum level of qualifications or work experience.

. Construction Industry Training Board (1122953)

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction industry. It works with construction companies to improve skills, increase competitive edge and respond to the many challenges employers face.

. CHAS Accreditation

CHAS is one of the main Health and Safety Pre-qualifications schemes and it is used by many clients to select which contractors are invited to tender for their work.

. Watermark Approved Contractors Scheme (STWF0297)

The scheme is run and administered by Severn Trent Water. WaterMark members have to demonstrate they have been suitably trained, passed a water regulations assessment on their knowledge and application of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and have public liability insurance.

. SMAS Worksafe Contractor (40788)

Holding a valid SSIP Member Scheme certificate means that a contractor has demonstrated their capability by meeting the SSIP core criteria. A key aim of the SSIP Forum is to reduce the burden and cost of H&S bureaucracy across the construction industry and as part of this, your SMAS Worksafe certificate will be recognised by the other SSIP members who offer mutual recognition meaning that you should not have to complete a further full H&S assessment with them.

. Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineers (018475G)

Professional body for the United Kingdom plumbing and heating industry. Its membership comprises approximately 8,000 individuals, including consultants, specifiers, designers, public health engineers, lecturers, trainers, trainees and practitioners.
